Description of Diabetes

Diabetes is a disorder in which the body can not utilize sugar normally. This causes the body to have extremely high sugar levels in both the blood and urine. With this condition the body is unable to secrete a sufficent amount of insulin. We will examine diabetes and consider both the environmental and hereditary factors that maybe involved. Diabetes is an important condition not only because of the life altering changes that individuals undergo , but because it is on the rise.
